GR TAC has pared down the military tactical hat to its essentials while keeping the low profile tactical hat fit. The primary material is the same military-grade nylon — 1000D Cordura — found in GORUCK’s rucks, which provides significantly more abrasion protection than cotton.
Tip: Green Berets who have worn GR TAC while deployed customized the underside of the brim with a small push button flashlight using the Velcro friendly material.
