Here is my updated Apple Evolution Poster which is an overview of Steve Job’s legacy. RIP Steve.
It is a visual I created to show the evolution of most all Apple products created over the past 30+ years. This was created to show the evolution of the form factor and industrial design of the products, not to show every single model or upgrade Apple has launched.

A trip to New Zealand, many long nights by myself and the team, and half a year in the making, Icebreaker’s great new site is finally live. My team at Summit had the pleasure of working with Icebreaker to do the extensive design for the new site. A few kinks are being worked out but the site turned out very well all the way from concept and design, through development and onto completion.
Check it out at http://icebreaker.com
Also see the project at my portfolio.

*update* Like a few of us figured and called out last night, it was a publicity stunt, or a backpedal. Heard from a friend that is at Gap that the logo was rolled out a couple months ago. Seems like a backpedal. Funny stuff.

Yes, this is the GAP logo. Even though their currently iconic logo is becoming outdated, this new brand face is one of the worst brand steps I have seen in many years.
I decided to take a stab at re-branding the re-brand.
It is Modern, yet Classic. Color references a hint of 1969 blue/black denim. Font is LOCATOR. I believe their blue color is holding them back and people will welcome this change. It will be more talked about then just changing the logo. You can imagine the black on black logo being matte and gloss working in conjunction.
I think it appeals to a wide variety of demographic, yet will still compliment their clothing athletic. Makes their brand feel a bit more high end yet still accessible at the same time (based on the style of clothing I have seen lately).

We had fun with this one. It was fun taking all the pictures and piecing them together. They are all of Lacy and Ashley. Each photo is different. I wanted to wait and post it till everybody received theirs in the mail.
Merry Christmas again :)

One thing that has always bothered me with Chevy and even Ford, are their colored logos they insist on putting on their cars. To me it really cheapens the brand. Almost every other brand out there successfully employs a chrome logo on their cars. Some may say it is good to go against the grain, which I do agree with most of the time, but Ford and Chevy’s colored logos on their cars just cheapens the brand. I think both are in need of a logo redo but getting rid of the horrible color that out dates their brand is a good start. Anybody agree?

Thumbs up for Pepsi Natural, it is nice to drink a soda and have it taste of real ingredients instead of chemicals. The Kola Nut Extract really came through in a positive way and reminded me of the days when soda was awesome. The glass bottle was the best part. Soda always tastes best from a glass bottle.
The store was selling it for 99 cents, which was a pleasant surprise and kind of blows open the theory that Sugar costs more for the soda makers. I would gladly pay $.99 for 12oz glass bottled soda instead of a bit more for 20oz chemical ridden, bad tasting soda in a plastic bottle.

I can’t imagine the amount of money they spent on all this fictitious crap. They might as well have shown some sketches from an art history 101 book then threw in a few AOL emoticons and called it good.
