Besides the ridiculous photo shoot in snow with low profile tires and impractical rims… this body has great styling.
Hennessey Performance (HPE) is well known for taking fast cars, trucks and SUV’s and making them faster. The company will be offering their HPE800 Twin Turbo Jeep for 2013. Based on the new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, the crew from HPE takes the factory 6.4 L Hemi and increases displacement to 7.0 L (426 cubic inches) while adding a twin turbo forced induction system. The resulting 805 bhp and 823 lb-ft of torque will be enough to propel the HPE800 from 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds.

The new Honda Accord Crosstour throws down the gauntlet for sedans around the world. With one fell swoop it has managed to not only add more cargo and head room & decrease airflow resistance, but it has successfully created a much more sporty looking sedan that takes cues from Porsche inspired design cues. I think this new sporty roomier look is here to stay… and I like it.

Probably the coolest thing I’ve seen in awhile

One thing that has always bothered me with Chevy and even Ford, are their colored logos they insist on putting on their cars. To me it really cheapens the brand. Almost every other brand out there successfully employs a chrome logo on their cars. Some may say it is good to go against the grain, which I do agree with most of the time, but Ford and Chevy’s colored logos on their cars just cheapens the brand. I think both are in need of a logo redo but getting rid of the horrible color that out dates their brand is a good start. Anybody agree?
