I recently purchased the top rated Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3K for a great price on amazon.
It has 3 key features I wanted.
- Shoots 720 HD video
- Has Stereo Mics
- Has 12x Optical Zoom
So far very happy. Here is a Raw test video I shot from my window at work in downtown Hood River, OR.

Mind sending me an e-mail with what it would cost me? Looks like something I could video some of my glider slope soaring with.
Nice One! I just picked up an LC3 a few weeks ago and am loving it. The lens is amazing, especially in low-light situations. I haven’t shot much video yet so that’s nice to see.
Nice, I was looking at the too, but had around 200 budget this time. That one you got is nice. I like the lens on it.
I think if Canon releases the G12 with HD video I might finally go that route. the G11 didnt have video and people were really upset,,, including me.
