That looks nice, but I guess the same as putting your teavana maker over a cup of ice. Hey their logo looks similar to Design Within Reach’s logo.
Ya the Teavana Perfect Tea maker is much better. This looks cooler, but the Teavana thing is way better in functionality.
Actually, Miguel, the two pitchers are specially designed to hold exactly the right amount of water and ice. The top pitcher brews an extra-concentrated hot tea so that when you flash-chill it over the ice in the bottom pitcher you get a perfectly flavored iced tea. It makes it quite easy to make a perfect glass of iced tea.
I actually work with Tea Forte, so I’m familiar with the product. When you see it, and taste it, it is amazing!
Andrew, No marketing speak please.
Extra Concentrated means extra tea leaves. When using your own (non pre packaged crap) loose tea leaves, you always use 2 times the amount of leaves for ice tea.
Flash Chilling? Marketing speak for pouring hot water over ice… come on (rolls eyes)
And while I do agree it is nice to have the right amount of water and ice pre-measured, it really only takes 1 or 2 tries to figure the right amount when using any other method.
I still prefer Teavana’s Perfect Tea maker. It takes the pouring and messiness out of the equation.
TEA is for limp wristed men and Brits ;D
